South Korea is a core Asian market, supported by one of the world’s most advanced digital infrastructures and technology ecosystems. Its strong industrial foundation, robust demand for AI and cloud services, and forward-looking policy environment create ideal conditions for hyperscale data center development.
Namyangju City, where KDV’s site is located, offers an optimized environment for large-scale AI data center projects, combining a strategic location within the Seoul metropolitan area with a clear focus on fostering future strategic industries. Leveraging these locational and policy strengths, we are advancing the development of next-generation digital infrastructure.
Namyangju Korea Digital Valley
The KDV project, with a planned capacity of up to 1,200MW, is being developed in Namyangju, located approximately 30 minutes from central Seoul. Spanning a total site area of 720,000m², the project is a next-generation data center purpose-built to support hyperscale and AI workloads. It incorporates advanced cooling technologies designed for high-density AI environments, along with systems optimized for maximum energy efficiency, enabling the development of a sustainable infrastructure that delivers both stability and scalability.

Malaysia
Malaysia is rapidly emerging as a key data center hub supporting the growth of Southeast Asia’s digital economy. With its strategic proximity to Singapore and strong regional connectivity, it offers the scalability and efficiency required for hyperscale data center development.
Johor Bahru provides an ideal environment for AI and hyperscale data centers, supported by the availability of large-scale land, reliable power supply, and strong potential for future integration with renewable energy. In addition, supportive national and local government policies for digital infrastructure provide a stable foundation for long-term data center development and operations.
Leveraging Johor Bahru’s locational and industrial strengths, KDV is developing a next-generation AI data center campus that connects Southeast Asia and supports the growth of global customers.
KDV Malaysia Johor Bahru
The KDV Malaysia Johor Bahru project is a 938MW hyperscale AI data center campus under development in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, envisioned as a leading AI gateway for Southeast Asia. The campus spans approximately 396,600m² and benefits from excellent accessibility, with travel times of under 50 minutes from central Singapore by road and rail.
Located in a core hyperscale region where large-scale AI and cloud infrastructure demand is rapidly expanding—driven by global hyperscalers such as AWS and Google—the project is being developed in close collaboration with the Iskandar Regional Development Authority, Johor Bahru City Council, and Malaysia’s national power utility. Through these partnerships, KDV is building a robust infrastructure capable of reliably supporting large-scale AI workloads.
